Usage Guidelines
Hotspot 2.0 is a Wi-Fi Alliance specification based upon the 802.11u protocol that provides wireless clients with
a streamlined mechanism to discover and authenticate to suitable networks, and allows mobile users the ability
to roam between partner networks without additional authentication.
Access Network Query Protocol (ANQP) and Hotspot 2.0 Query Protocol (H2QP) profiles define the
information in the 802.11u Information Elements (IEs) to be broadcast by an 802.11u-capable AP. Use this
command to select one of each type of ANQP and H2QP profile to be associated with the advertisement
profile.
