Question: Why are the signal strength bars on my phone and computer different
when they are sitting next to each other?
Answer: Data coverage areas and phone coverage areas do not always coincide. You are probably in an area with weaker data
coverage than cellphone coverage. Check for data coverage with your service provider.
Question: I have an indication of good signal strength but I am unable to connect.
Why?
Answer: The Signal Strength bar displays the strength of the cellular signal. In order to attach to the network, you also need to
have subscribed to the service. Check with your service provider to ensure your service is activated.
Question: How can I check the quality of my connection?
Answer: The Signal Strength bar, located on the Main Window, indicates the quality of the signal. If two or more bars are shaded,
the signal strength is good. If fewer than two bars are shaded, the signal strength is weak, and it may be difficult to establish and
maintain a network connection. Contact your service provider about coverage for weak signals.
