2. Click the WLAN tab, and do the following:
a. AddUse this option to add and configure a new SSID connection.
You can configure the SSID connection from the available security type options.
After you configure the SSID connection, the added SSID connection is listed on the WLAN tab.
b. RemoveUse this option if you want to remove an SSID connection from the list.
c. PropertiesUse this option to view and configure the authentication properties of an SSID connection that is displayed
in the list.
d. Select the Disable Wireless Device check box if you want to disable a wireless device.
AlwaysClick this radio button if you want to disable the wireless device always.
EnetUpClick this radio button if you want to disable the wireless device whenever the wired network is connected.
e. Click IPConfig to configure the IPv4 settings for the wireless connection. To use either DHCP or static IP address, do
the following:
i. Click Properties.
The Network Setup dialog box is displayed.
ii. To set the IPv4 connection, configure any one of the following options:
If you want to allow your thin client to automatically receive information from the DHCP server, click Dynamically
allocated over DHCP/BOOTP.
If you want to manually configure the IP address, click Statically specified IP Address, and provide the IPv4
details.
3. Click OK to save the settings.
NOTE:
Device reboot is not required to change the network settings. All the changes take effect immediately.
For example, ThinOS connects to the new wireless SSID immediately without reboot.
