Configuring connectivity
This chapter helps you to understand various configuration settings for a secure connection.
To configure the settings on Classic desktop, click System Setup from the desktop menu, and use the configuration tabs. To
configure the settings on Zero desktop, click the System Settings icon on the zero toolbar, and then use the configuration
tabs.
Configuring the network settings
Use the network options to configure the network based on your requirement.
Configuring the general settings
To configure the general network settings:
1. From the desktop menu, click System Setup, and then click Network Setup.
The Network Setup dialog box is displayed.
2. Click the General tab, and use the following guidelines:
a. Select the network interface options based on your thin client model.
To set the default gateway on supported ThinOS platforms with Wireless LAN (WLAN) module, select the type of
network interface from the following options:
ENET Enables you to set up the Ethernet Wired Network connection using the onboard Ethernet port.
WLANEnabled you to set up a Wireless Network connection.

To set the default gateway on Wyse 5070 thin client contains any of the optional modulesRegistered Jack 45
(RJ45) or Small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module, select the type of network interface from the following options:
ENET0 Enables you to set up the first Ethernet Wired Network connection using the onboard Ethernet port.
