New and enhanced features
Supports display rotation to flip 180 degrees
A Flip 180 degrees option is added to the Rotation drop-down list from ThinOS 8.6_xx which enables the user to change
the display to a landscape mode. Ensure that the current resolution is set to 0 degrees or 180 degrees.
NOTE:
For the Flip 180 degrees option to work efficiently, the screen direction must be at 0 or 180 degrees. If either of the
90-degree screen rotation is already applied, changing the option to Flip 180 degrees only rotates the screen to 90 degrees
more.
Support for Inclusive language
The user INI is updated to Device_Security=allow_list/block_list from Device_Security=white_list/
black_list. The functionality of this parameter remains the same.
For more information about the newly added INI parameters, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 8.6 INI Reference Guide at
www.dell.com/support.
Enable or disable the Citrix Self Service Password Reset pin icon
and pin change
The user has an option to disable or enable the Citrix SSPR pin icon and SSPR pin change radio button.
For more information about the newly added INI parameters, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 8.6 INI Reference Guide at
www.dell.com/support.
Support to disable the default behavior of Client discovery
methods
From ThinOS 8.6_6xx onwards, after the initial INI configurations are received by the thin client from Wyse Management
Suite, the options DNSFileServerDiscover, WMSEnable, and DHCPOptionsRemap are disabled by default if they are not
previously defined. These options are enabled after a factory reset or you can use INI parameters to enable these options.
