Release scope

This release addresses the security issue with Intel Management Engine (ME) by delivering a package to install BIOS v1.5.0 using WDM.

The package can be installed on Wyse 7040 thin clients that runs on Dell Wyse Enhanced Windows Embedded Standard 7P (WES7P) and

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (WIE10).

A security vulnerability for the Intel Management Engine (ME), part of Intel's Advanced Management Technology (AMT), is patched with

rmware provided by Intel Corporation, when this package containing BIOS v1.5.0 is installed using WDM.

1 Copy the respective BIOS update package file (.exe file) to the WDM server. 2 Extract the .exe file.
