2 The Default Device Conguration allows you to automatically distribute Firmware or SW packages or both to your thin clients devices,
Assigning DDCs to groups of devices ensures conformity and allows you to target functional areas of your enterprise with tailored
imaging and conguration.
3 Specify the following details:

• Default Device Conguration - (WDM Enterprise Edition only.) Select this option if you want to allow devices to use DDCs for
automatic upgrades.
• Schedule DDC Reconciliation at: Enter the time.
4 Click Prole Manager
in the Device Manager tree to start Prole Manager Preferences window. Prole Manager enables you to deploy a predened
conguration on a specied group of devices. You can create the congurations using Dell Wyse Conguration Manager (WCM).
5 Specify the following details:
a Select Enable Prole Manager in the Prole Manager Preferences pane.
b Click OK to save your settings.
6 Click Management Server alias name option to enter fully qualied domain name or hostname of the management server that device
agents will use to connect to the management server.
7 Click Save.
Congure Device Discovery
The Device discovery congures agents discovery behavior after rst check-in to the management server.
