Removing the Fan | 27

2 Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.

3 Release the power-adapter port cable from the routing guides on the fan.

4 Disconnect the fan cable from the I/O board connector.

5 Remove the screws that secure the fan to the palm-rest assembly.

6 Lift the fan off the palm-rest assembly.
