Replacing the palm-rest
assembly

Procedure
Place the palm-rest assembly on a clean and flat surface.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the keyboard.
2 Replace the system board.
3 Replace the power-adapter port.
4 Replace the display assembly.
5 Replace the fans.
6 Replace the heat-sink assembly.
7 Replace the speakers.
8 Replace the wireless card.
9 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 6 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
10 Replace the memory modules.
11 Replace the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length).
12 Replace the base cover.
