GRIDDLE BURNER
The griddle burner generates the infra-red rays which ensure an uniform cooking on the
griddle cooking plate.
Gas flow to the burner is adjusted by turning the knob (illustrated in fig. 4.4) which con-
trols the valve. The following functions are achieved by turning the knob:
To reduce the gas flow to minimum, rotate the knob further anti-clockwise to point the
indicator towards the position. Other intermediate operating adjustments can be
achieved by positioning the indicator between the maximum and minimum aperture
position and never between the maximum aperture and position.
N.B. When the range is not being used, set the gas knobs to their posi-
tions and also close the gas shut-off valve placed on the main gas supply
line.
