Troubleshooting Dishwasher Safety Precautions Technical problems Before Calling for Service, review the following troubleshooting tips. Care and Cleaning Filtering System The filter prevents larger remnants of food or other objects from getting inside the pump. Using Your Dishwasher Adjusting the Rinse Aid Dispenser The rinse aid dispenser has four scales. Always start with the dispenser set on "3". If spots and poor drying are a problem, increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to "4". The recommended setting is "3". (Factory value is "3".) NOTE: Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing.
Using Your Dishwasher Using Your Dishwasher WARNING! When loading the dishes and cutlery, please note: Ÿ Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Ÿ Dishes and cutlery must not impede the rotation of the spray arms. Ÿ Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down! Ÿ Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening downwards so that water cannot collect in the container or a deep base.
