Please Note: rst use
Before using the appliance for the rst time, rinse the internal
piping thoroughly, operating it as you would to make coee,
until two tanks of water have emptied, then proceed with
making coee.
Pre-heating the coee machine
1. Turn the appliance on by rotating the selector dial to the
position (the relative indicator light switches on) (g.

2. Place a cup under the lter-holder. Use the same cup
in which the coee is to be served so that it can be pre-
heated.

Making and espresso using ground coee
1. To prepare one coee, ll the lter with a level measuring
spoonofgroundcoee,about7gr.(g.9).Ifyouwishto
prepare two cups of coee, ll the lter with two less-
than-level measuring spoons of ground coee (about
7+7 gr). Fill the lter with small amounts at a time to
prevent the coee spilling out.
Attention:
For correct use, before lling the lter with ground coee
always make sure there is no residual coee in the lter from
the previous infusion.
2. Distribute the groundcoee evenly and press it lightly
using the coee tamper (g. 10).

and attach it to the machine: turning it fully home to the
right (g. 5) to prevent water from escaping.
4. Position the cup or cupsunder the lter-holder spouts
(g. 11). It is recommended to warm the cups before
making the coee by running them under hot water.

nottorunthecoeeformorethan45seconds).
6. Turn the lter holder from right to left to release the lter-
holder.
Scalding hazard!
To prevent sprays, do not release the lter-holder while the
machine is dispensing coee.
7. To remove the used coee, lock the lter using the lever in
the grip and let the coee fall out by knocking the over-
turned lter-holder (g. 12).

Making a cappuccino
1. Prepare the espresso coee as described in the previous
paragraphs, using cups that are large enough
2. Rotatetheselectordialtothe position (g. 13).
3. While waiting for the OK light, ll a container with about
100 grams of milk for every cappuccino to be prepared.
The milk must be at refrigerator temperature (5°C). When
choosing the container consider that the volume of the
milk will increase by 2 or 3 times.

nozzle.
5. Wait for the OK light to switch on. This indicates that
the boiler has reached the ideal temperature for steam
production, when reaching the ideal temperature, it is
normal for a small pu of steam and water to be released,
and collected in the drip tray.
6. Extract the cappuccino nozzle by pulling it and rotating it
