The time is set: press the MENU button to exit the menu.
8.3 Auto-o
Auto-o can be set so that the appliance goes o after 15 or 30
minutes, or after 1, 2 or 3 hours.
1. Press the MENU button (B3) to enter the menu;
2. Press the (B4) or (B5) nchè appare sul display
(B1) la scritta “Autospegnimento”;
3. Press the button (B6);
4. Press the or until the number of minutes/hours
of operation appears on the display (15 or 30 minutes, or
1, 2 or 3 hours);
5. Press the button to conrm.
Auto-o is set. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
8.4 Auto-start
You can set the auto-start time in order to have the appliance
ready at a certain time (for example in the morning) so you can
make coee immediately.
Please note :
To enable this function, the time must already be set correctly.
1. Press the MENU’ (B3) button to enter the menu;
2. Press the (B4) or (B5) button until “Auto-start”
appears on the display (B1);
3. Press the (B6) button (B6). “Enable?” appears on
the display;
4. Press the button to conrm;
5. Press the or button to choose the hour;
6. Press the button to conrm;
7. Press the or button to change the minutes;
8. Press the button to conrm;
9. Then press the MENU button to exit the menu.
Once the time has been conrmed, activation of auto-start is
indicated by the symbol displayed alongside the time
and under “Auto-start” in the menu.
To disable the function:
1. Select auto-start from the menu;
2. Press the button. “Disable?” appears on the display;
3. Press the button to conrm.
The symbol is no longer displayed.
8.5 Set temperature
If you want to modify the temperature of the water used to
make the coee (low, medium, high, maximum), proceed as
follows:
1. Press the MENU button (B3) to enter the menu;
2. Press the (B4) or (B5) button until “Set tempera-
ture” appears on the display (B1);
3. Press the button (B6);
4. Press the or button until the required temper-
ature (low, medium, high, maximum) appears on the
display;
5. Press the button to conrm.
The temperature is set. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
8.6 Energy saving
Use this function to enable or disable energy saving. When en-
abled, the function reduces energy consumption in compliance
with European regulations.
When energy saving mode is active, an asterisk appears below
“Energy saving” in the menu.
1. Press the MENU button (B3) to enter the menu;
2. Press the (B4) or (B5) button until “Energy sav-
ing” appears on the display;
3. Press the button (B6). “Enable?” or “Disable?” ap-
pears on the display;
4. Press the button to enable or disable energy saving
mode.
Then press the MENU button to exit the menu.
When the function is active, if the machine is not used for some
time, “Energy Saving” appears on the display.
Please note:
When in energy saving mode, a few seconds may elapse before
the rst coee is delivered as the appliance must heat up again.
8.7 Set water hardness
For instructions on setting water hardness, see section “16. Set-
ting water hardness”.
8.8 Set language
To modify the language on the display, proceed as follows:
1. Press the MENU’ button (B3) to enter the menu;
2. Press the (B4) or (B5) button until “Set lan-
guage” appears on the display (B1);
3. Press the button (B6);
4. Press the or button until the required language
appears on the display;
5. Press the button to conrm;
The language is set. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
