If the coee is delivered too slowly or
not at all, turn one click clockwise to-
wards “7”.
For fuller bodied creamier coee on the
other hand, turn one click anticlockwise
towards “1” (do not turn more than one
click at a time otherwise the coee could
be delivered a drop at a time).
These adjustments will only be evident after at least 2 cups of
coee have been delivered.
If this adjustment does not obtain the desired result, turn the
dial another click.
9.4 Tips for a hotter coee
For a hotter coee, before delivery you are recommended to:
rinse the appliance through by pressing the button
(C3). Hot water ows out of the coee spouts (A17) and
hot water spout (if inserted) heats the internal circuit of
the machine so that the coee delivered will be hotter.
Danger of burns! If inserted, hot water will ow
out also from the hot water spout.
warm the cups with hot water (using the hot water
function).
9.5 Making coee using coee beans
Important!
Do not use caramelised or candied coee beans as they could
stick to the coee mill and make it unusable.
1. Place coee beans in the coee bean container (A2) (g.
11).
2. Place under the coee dispensing spouts (A17), either:
- 1 cup if you want one coee (g. 12);
- 2 cups if you want 2 coees.
3. Lower the spouts as near as possible to the cup. This makes
a creamier coee (g. 13).
4. Press the button (C6).
5. Preparation begins and automatically stops.
Please note:
While the machine is making coee, delivery can be inter-
rupted at any moment by pressing the button.
At the end of delivery, to increase the quantity of coee in
the cup, just press and hold (within 3 seconds) the
button.
Once the coee has been made, the appliance is ready to make
the next drink.
Please note!
Lights may be displayed on the control panel (B) during
use.
Their meaning is given in the section “18. EXPLANATION OF
LIGHTS”.
For hotter coee, see the section “9.4 Tips for a hotter
coee.
If the coee is delivered a drop at a time, too weak and not
creamy enough or too cold, read the tips in the section “19.
TROUBLESHOOTING.
9.6 Making coee using pre-ground coee
Important!
Never add pre-ground coee when the machine is o or it
could spread through the inside of the machine and dirty
it. This could damage the appliance.
Never use more than 1 level measure or it could dirty the
inside of the coee maker or block the funnel.
Please note!
If you use pre-ground coee, you can only make one cup of
coee at a time (it is suggested not to require double size).
1. Keep pressed the button(C2 - g. 8) until (B2) is
displayed.
2. Open the pre-ground coee funnel lid (A4).
