electrical requirements Before using this appliance ensure that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds with the main voltage in your home, if you are in any doubt about your supply contact your local electricity company. The flexible mains lead is supplied connected to a B.S. 1363 fused plug having a fuse of 13 amp capacity. Should this plug not fit the socket outlets in your home, it should be cut off and replaced with a suitable plug, following the procedure outlined below.

use Preheating the coffee unit To make espresso coffee at the right temperature, the coffee maker should be preheated as follows: 1. Turn the appliance on by pressing the ON/OFF button (the ON light comes on) (fig. 4) and attach the filter holder to the appliance without adding pre-ground coffee (fig. 5). 2. Place a cup under the filter holder (fig. 11). Use the cup you will later use to make the coffee in order to preheat it. 3. Wait for the OK light to come on (fig.
