If the coee is delivered too slowly or
not at all, turn one click clockwise to-
wards “7”.
For fuller bodied creamier coee, turn
one click anticlockwise towards “1” (do
not turn more than one click at a time
otherwise the coee could be delivered
a drop at a time). These adjustments will only be evident after
at least 2 cups of coee have been delivered. If this adjustment
does not obtain the desired result, turn the dial another click.
Tips for a hotter coee
For hotter coee, you should:
• perform a rinse cycle before delivering the coee by press-
ing the
icon (B10);
• warm the cups with hot water (using the hot water
function);
• increase coee temperature as described in the previous
paragraph (page 10).
Making coee using coee beans
Important!
Do not use caramelised or candied coee beans as they could
stick to the coee mill and make it unusable.
1. Fill the container with coee beans (g. 9).
2. Place under the coee spouts:
- 1 cup, if you want to make 1 coee (g. 10);
- 2 cups, if you want 2 coees (g. 11).
3. Lower the spouts as near as possible to the cup. This makes
a creamier coee (g. 12).
4. Press the icon corresponding to the required coee:
coee requested icon
1 short coee
1 long coee
2 short coees
2 long coees
5. Preparation begins and the light corresponding to the se-
lected icon ashes on the touch screen.
Once the coee has been made, the appliance is ready to make
the next drink.
Please note:
• While the machine is making coee, delivery can be inter-
rupted at any moment by pressing any icon.
• At the end of delivery, to increase the quantity of coee in
the cup, just press one of the coee icons (within 3 seconds).

Important!
• If the coee is delivered a drop at a time, too weak and not
creamy enough or too cold, read the tips in the “Trouble-
shooting” section (page 19).
• Lights may be displayed on the touch screen during use.
Their meaning is given in the section “Explanation of the
lights” on page 17.
• For hotter coee, see the section “Tips for a hotter coee”
(page 12).
Making coee using pre-ground coee
Important!
• Never place coee beans in the pre-ground coee funnel
as this could damage the appliance.
• Never add pre-ground coee when the machine is o or it
could spread through the inside of the machine and dirty
it. This could damage the appliance.
• Never use more than 1 level meas-
ure or it could dirty the inside of the
coee machine or block the funnel.
Please note!
When you use pre-ground coee, you can only make one cup of
coee at a time.
1. Make sure the appliance is on.
2. Turn the dial
(B9) anticlockwise to the
position.
3. Open the pre-ground coee funnel lid.
4. Make sure the funnel is not blocked, then add one level
measure of pre-ground coee (g. 13).
5. Place a cup under the coee spouts ( g. 10).
6. Press the 1 cup coee icon
(B2).
7. Preparation begins.
Please note!
If “Energy Saving” mode is active, you may have to wait a few
seconds before the rst coee is delivered.
Making DOUBLE+ coee using coee beans
Prepare the appliance following the instructions in the section
“Making coee using coee beans”, then press the icon
(B15).
Customising the DOUBLE+ coee quantity
The appliance is set by default to deliver about 120 ml of DOU-
BLE+ coee. To modify these settings, proceed as follows:
