Description

The LCP-1250 CWDM series are designed

for coarse wavelength division multiplexing

applications (CWDM) and hot pluggable SFP

transceiver modules that data rates up to 1.25Gb/s.

The LCP-1250 CWDM series are support GbE

(1.25Gb/s) and 1x Fiber channel (1.062Gb/s). The

selectiveness of center wavelength has 1470,

1490, 1510, 1530, 1550, 1570, 1590, and 1610 nm.

The LCP-1250 CWDM series are designed to

be compliant with SFF-8472 SFP Multi-source

Agreement (MSA) with digital diagnostic

monitoring functions: Temperature, V

, TX

optical power, TX laser bias current, and RX

received optical power.

The post-amplifier of the LCP-1250 CWDM

series also includes a Loss of Signal (LOS) circuit

that provides a TTL logic-high output when the

received optical level is below a preset LOS

Assert threshold.

Notes: 1) TX Fault is an open collector/drain output, which should be pulled up with a 4.7K – 10KΩ resistor on the host board. Pull up voltage between 2.0V and VccT, R+0.3V. When high, output indicates a laser fault of some kind. Low indicates normal operation. In the low state, the output will be pulled to < 0.8V. 2) TX disable is an input that is used to shut down the transmitter optical output. It is pulled up within the module with a 4.7 – 10 K Ω resistor. Its states are: Low (0 – 0.

Enhanced Digital Diagnostic Interface The memory map in the following describes an extension to the memory map defined in SFP MSA. The enhanced interface uses the two wire serial bus address 1010001X(A2h) to provide diagnostic information about the module’s present operating conditions.
