Chapter 10 Writing data in SQL Server 2005
Before giving the example, please setup the upload/download mode for DOPSoft. The
default is【USB】. If desire to change the mode to【Ethernet】, please refer to Appendix A.
10.1 Example
Followings introduce the method for sampling HMI register data, $100, $200 and $300 via
eServer every 5 seconds. Then, save the data in SQL Server 2005 through ODBC interface.
The collected data will be saved in the specified file.
10.1.1 Setup Data Base
Installation of SQL Server 2005 Express:
XP supports SQL Server 2005 Express and SQL Server 2008. Please select SQL Server
2005 Express here. Download SQL Server 2005 Express (SQLEXPR_CHT.EXE is 64 bit
and SQLEXPR32_CHT.EXE is 32 bit) from:
