170 PMAC On-Line Command Specification
<CTRL-L> is when the rotary buffer needs to be opened and closed repeatedly. After
closing the rotary buffer, there is no chance that an on-line command can be mistaken for a
buffer command.
Example
<CTRL-U>
; Open rotary buffer
X10 Y20 F5 M3
; Put program line in buffer
X30 Y40 F5 ....
; Put program line in buffer
<CTRL-L>
; Close rotary buffer
M1
; On-line command for value of M1
