INTRODUCTION

This new Drill Press Guard is supplied with a universal

type mounting system making it adaptable to t all drill

presses with columns measuring 1 1/2” to 3 11/16” in

diameter.

ASSEMBLY 1. Fasten column bracket (E) Fig. 3, to drill press column using clamp (F) supplied, as shown. NOTE: the vertical location of the column bracket (E) on the column can vary. The column arm (D) Figs. 4 and 5, can be assembled to the column bracket (E) by inserting end of arm (D) down through hole in column bracket (E), as shown in Fig. 4, or up through hole in column bracket (E), as shown in Fig. 5.

6. Assemble mounting bracket to guard with mounting bracket screw sets (I)( screw, flast washer, guard, lock washer then nut). 7. Assemble guard with mounting bracket (A) Fig. 8, to end of arm (C) and thread lock knob (G) into hole in mounting bracket to lock guard (B) in position. 8. Assemble locking collar (H) and thumb screw (I) to arm (C), as shown in Fig. 8. NOTE: Four holes, two of which are shown at (J) Fig.
