MATERIALS: Assist bar posts are made in zinc die cast alloy. Castings are polished

and plated with chrome, polished brass or white polyester powder coat.

Bars are 7/8” O.D. x (21 gauge) type 304 stainless steel and are

chrome plated, polished brass or white polyester powder coat.

INSTALLATION: Assemble posts and bar by tightening 1/4" x 20" x 1-1/2" nylon fastener

under each post until bar is secure. Install posts and bar with

3 - #8 x 1-1/2" flat head stainless steel screws per post.

Note: 500 series grab bars are engineered to meet 300 lbs. pull when properly installed.

MATERIALS: Unit is fabricated of 1-1/4" diameter 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel tubing with #4 satin finish and knurled grip. Back plate is 1/4”

thick, one piece design with supports and is molded out of solid aluminum. Tubing is heliarc welded and is assembled onto a swivel

hinge. A stainless steel wall retaining clip is included to insure that bar is held in the upright position.

INSTALLATION: Unit absolutely must be secured to in-wall reinforcement backing capable of withstanding a minimum 500 pounds download pull. Unit is

attached with 4 bolts with a minimum 1/4” (6 mm) diameter and the wall retaining clip is attached at the proper height and centered to

receive the tubing when lifted to the upright position.
