Fiber Optic Interface (FOI) unit
TheFOIconvertstheRFsignalsinthedownlinktofiberopticallaseroutputthatistransmittedonthefi bertothe
remoteunit.ItalsoreceivesthelaserlighttransmittedbytheRemoteUnitandconvertsitbacktoRFsignalsthatare
thenroutedtotheICUand/orBIU.
