Installing Headend Equipment
Allequipmentmustbeproperlygrounded.Groundpeginthemainconnectorforbothheadendgear(MasterUnit)
andremotegear(RemoteUnits)mustbeconnectedtoPhase,NeutralandGroundinaproperwaybeforepoweris
connected.

barwhenoperated.Allelectricalinstallationsshouldbedonebyacertifiedelectricianonly.

UsinginstallerprovidedEthernetcable,connectthe“Extporttotheappropriatebackhaulconnection.
ThebackhaulconnectioncanbeDSL,offairmodem,LAN,WAN.SeeBGWsetupinstructions.

installationiscomplete.MountingmaywithEthernetportstothefrontorrearoftherack.

UsinginstallerprovidedEthernetcable,connectport25oftheEthernetswitchtothe“INTportonthe
BGW.
