Break-N-Mend
The BREAK-N-MEND is a handy tool for doing
chain repairs on the job. When you carry this tool
in the crew bus, you can repair or shorten saw
chain right in the field.
It is also handy for making up new chains from a
reel. No work bench or extra tools are required.
Its adjustable anvil section and spinner head will
accommodate saw chain from
1
⁄4” to .404” pitch.
Chain Breaker
The POCKET CHAIN BREAKER is our least
expensive chain breaker. This punch and anvil set
is a must for every home saw repair bench.
The anvil has a number of slots for accommodat-
ing
1
⁄4”, low profile
3
⁄8”, .325”,
3
⁄8”. and .404” pitch
saw chain. The anvil must be used on a solid sur-
face. A hammer is also required.
If you have a bench grinder, it is helpful to remove
part of the rivet head prior to punching with this
tool. This makes it much easier to punch out the
rivets.

we use to break chain in our shop. It works on
most sizes of saw chain from

including harvester chain.

bench and mark the link
counts you cut most
often. If you make up a
lot of chains or do a lot
of repairing, you will
wonder how you ever
got along without it.

Rivet Spinner
The BENCH MOUNT RIVET SPINNER is used to
join saw chain. The spinner makes a strong joint
by shaping rivet heads on pre-set tie straps.
Included is the spinning head necessary for rivet-
ing most types of

⁄8” pitch saw chain. Ask about
other chain sizes.
