FLIP-LINE is made of bright orange 5/8” or 1/2"
polyester rope braided over 1/4” steel wire cable.
A locking swivel snap is included. The flip-line is
available with or without the rope grab flip line
adjuster and twisted clevis.
* The NON-CORE FLIP-LINE (not shown) looks
similar to a steel-core flip line, but does not have a
steel cable core. Since the steel core is conductive,
its cut-resistance and strength may be offset by risk
of electrocution when working near high-voltage
elecrical lines.
OLD STYLE FLIP-LINE
is 7/8" Manila rope with
a steel-core. Because of
its large diameter, some
climbers still prefer this
when working in trees
with heavy bark.
FLIP-LINE ADJUSTERS feature a cam-locking mecha-
nism that easily adjusts a flip-line to any length. Unlike
a prusik knot, they require only one hand to adjust.
These adjusters are durable and less likely to get cut
while in a tree.
Maxi Flip-
Line Kit
MAXI FLIP-LINE is
made of 3/4" Dacron
rope over a steel-core. It
comes complete with a
Petzl rope grab adjuster
and carabiner. Unless
you are working in
really big trees, the 15'
length is plenty.
