MADSEN'S LUG SOLE WORK BOOTS
are custom made for Madsen's here in the
USA. We took the durable leather uppers
used on our calked boots and mated them
with Vibram lug soles and block heels.
Additional features include: steel shanks,
leather heel inserts, and brass eyelets and
hooks. Lace-to-toe boots made of these
materials are usually expensive, but our
volume buying allows us to offer them at
a value price.
WESCO LUG SOLE WORK BOOTS have
10" tops and are made like popular Wesco
calked bottom boots, but fitted with
Vibram lug soles. This makes them great
boots for operating equipment or other
uses where calked bottoms are not practi-
cal. Additional features include: Rolled
leather top facing, an all leather mid-sole
and heel base, heavy-duty stitching, a
formed Stytherm counter, all leather gus-
sets, and removable Ortholite foam slip-in
inserts.
WESCO CLIMBING BOOTS are made
especially for arborists and linemen,
because they are made for wearing with
climbing spurs. They share many features
with the boots above but have extra fea-
tures that increase their comfort and dura-
bility when climbing. These include: extra
tall tops, extra steel plates in the heel area,
sturdy shanks, and additional leather flaps
on the outers for extra wear caused by
pole or tree bark abrasion.
