[2] Setting the parameters in the PL[I CINEMA, PLII MUSIC and PRO LOGIC modes
• When PL]I CINEMA, PLI!MUSIC or PRO LOGIC is selected in the 2=channel mode, more detailed parameters can also be set for the different
modes.
PLH MUSIC mode: Use the procedure described below to make the settings.
PLil CINEMA and PRO LOGIC modes: Refer to step 6 on pages 44 and 45.
• Program sources marked in parentheses r_lanow_l and 2-channel sources (CDs, etc.) are decoded using Dolby Pro-Logic ]1
processing and played in the multi-channel mode.
_} Cinema (PL]] CINEMA) mode: This mode is suited for movies and other Dolby Surround programs.
(2} Music (PL][ MUSIC) mode: This mode is suited for stereo music programs.
(3} Pro-Logic (PRO LOGIC) compatible mode: This is the conventional Dolby Surround Pro-Logic mode.

If "YES" is selected, the settings are reset to the factory
defaults
,_ Once the surround parameters have been set, stop operating
buttons. After several seconds the display returns to normal and
the settings are automatically validated.
This completes the setting of the parameters
NOTES:
• The 2 channel mode setting is stored in the memory for the
individual functions.
• It is not possible to play DTS digital input sources in the Dolby
mode.
