• For the DVD, TV/DBS and VAUX functions, when the 2-channel mode is set to the auto stereo mode, 2-channel sources are played in 2-channel
stereo.
• Applicable sources
• Digital inputs (TWDBS and V.AUX functions, including DVD
playback discs)
Dolby Digital 2-channel sources
PCM 2-channel sources (include 96 kHz PCM)

if the mode is set to anything other than AUTO DECODE,
the AUTO DECODE mode can be set using the AUTO
DECODE/2CH MODE button on the main unit.
Play a 2-channel source.
• The AUTO ST indicator lights.

-_ The mode can be changed to the Dolby Pro Logic 1]mode
during playback by changing the 2-channel mode {surround
parameter) or by pressing the AUTO DECODE/2CH MODE
button.
NOTE:
• DTS 2-channel sources are played in two channels in the DTS
mode, not in the auto stereo mode
