Setting the timer start time
Set the hours' place to "PM12"

4 Set the timer standby mode to on or off
• "ON" or "OFF" (the one that has been selected) flashes.
Select "ON" if you want the timer to operate. {When set
to "ON", the _ mark appears on the display.)

seconds, the setting will be made automatically and there
will be a return to the normal display (Operation 15 is not
necessary.)

Turn off the main unit's power ON/STANDBY
• The power is set to the standby Orange
mode.
• If the timer standby mode is set to
"ON", the power LED is lit orange.

When the disp]ay's _ mark is lit or the power LED is lit orange
when the power is in the standby mode, the timer will operate at
the same times every day {Everyday timer)
,_ if you do not want the timer to operate, press the TIMER/SET
button to display "T.Stdby" and set to "OFF".
(The display's (_ mark turns off.)
if you make a mistake when setting the timer, with steps 5 to 12
press the TIMER/SET button and hold it in for at least 2 seconds to
return to step 3, and start over from there.
NOTES:
• If the current time is not set, the timer standby setting cannot
be set to "ON". Be sure to set the current time before turning
on the timer.
• The timer will operate as long as it is turned on, even if the time
setting is off due to a power failure. If you want the timer to
operate correctly, be sure the current time is properly set.
• If the timer start time is reached while the power is turned on,
the set operates as set for the timer {The timer settings are
given priority.)
• Be sure to set the power to the standby mode to operate the
timer
==To Listen to the TUNER with the Everyday l_mer
• Set "Timer TUNER" in Step 4, then press the TIMER/SET
button.

dial to select the preset channel on which you would like to
receive with the timer, then press the TIMER/SET button.
• Hereafter, the same procedure is performed from Step 6.
