[] SYSTEM FUNCTIONS
• Making system connections between the ADV-M51 and the D-M31 series cassette deck (DRR-M31) makes operation even easier. (Fer
instructions on cennectiens, refer te "Connecting to D-M31 Series System Components" on pages 10 to 11 .)
• System functions will not work properly if the input/output function settings are net right fer the connected cempenents. Be sure to set the
input/output functiens fer the compenents being used. (See [)age 38.) The setting centents are maintained until they are next changed even
when the power is switched off.
• When the play/pause butten on the main unit ( I_/11 ) er the DVD play button on the remote contrel unit I_ ) is pressed while the power is in
the standby mede, the ADV-M51 's power turns en autematically, and if a disc is leaded in the ADV-M51 the disc is played.

When the ADV-M51 is in the standby mode, the power can be
turned en simply by pressing the play/pause button on the
main unit or the DVD [)lay button en the remote centrel unit.
If a disc is leaded, playback starts.

• To listen tea radio program, simply press
one of the tuner [)reset buttons ("+" or "-")
en the remote control unit. The pewer turns
on and a station is tuned in.
• The pewer on function werks in the same
way when system connections are made
with the D-M31 series cassette deck (DRR-
M31). For details, refer te the respective
cemponent's operating instructions.
