"LPCM SELECT (96 kHz _ 48 kHz)" is selected,
OFF (Factory default)
Make the selection when playing back to a decoder DVDs
that were recerded with this unit using linear PCM 48
kHz/20/24 bit and 96 kHz modes. Note that DVDs with
Cepyright Pretectien are cenverted to 48 kHz/16 bits and
played back.
The same signal is output from the digital output jacks.

DVDs that were recorded with linear PCM 48 kHz/20/24
bit and 96 kHz modes are all cenverted to 48 kHz/16 bits.
Make this selection at the time of digital recerding.

Press the ENTER butten, you can go back te the previous

NOTES:
When playing Dolby Digital/DTS surround DVDs or 96 kHz linear PCM DVDs on the ADV-M51, be sure to set "Digital Output" to "Normal"
and "LPCM Conversion Mede" to "De Net Cenvert".
When and only when you want te eutput the signals ef the Dolby Digital/DTS surreund DVD being played en the ADV-M51 to a digital
PCM device, set "Digital Output" to "PCM Cenversien".
With this setting, DVDs cannet be played en the ADV-M51 in the Delby Digital/DTS surround mode. (The surreund mode is set to the
mode in which PCM 2-channel signals can be played.)
When and enly when you want to make a digital recording of the signals of a 48 kHz/20-bit/24-bit or 96 kHz linear PCM DVD being played
on the ADV-M51 onto a digital recorder, set the "LPCM Cenversion" to "Convert".
With this setting it is not possible te decode and play 48 kHz/20-bit/24-bit or 96 kHz linear PCM signals en the ADV-M51 during recording.
(Decoding and playback is in 48 kHz/16-bit linear PCM fermat.)
