NOTES:

• An English caption decoder is required to display English captiens.

• DVDs with captien signals are indicated by the D , _J , t_l , mark.

English captions cannet be displayed when playing DVDs which de not contain caption signals.

• The characters in which the captiens are displayed (capital letters, small letters, italics, etc.) depend on the DVD and cannot be selected with

this unit.

Use the -91 and I_ cursor buttons te select the "OTHER

SETUP", then press the ENTER button.

• CAPTIONS

Set whether or net to display the closed captions

(subtitles) recorded on the DVD. (A caption decoder

(commercially available) is required to display captiens.)

• SLIDE SHOW

Set the time interval for switching to the next still image

(in JPEG format) when playing slides.

._ To exit the other setup mode

Use the • and • curser buttens to select "> NEXT DVD

MENU", then press the ENTER bu_on.

Remote control unit

Use the • and • cursor buttons te select the desired

setting, then press the ENTER button.

• When "CAPTIONS" is selected:

• OFF (Factory default)

Select this when you do not want te display the captions

on the screen when playing DVDs centaining English

captiens.

• ON

Select this te display the captions on the screen when

playing DVDs containing English captions.

•_ To exit the captions mode

Press the ENTER butten, you can go back to the previeus

screen,
