6. Press the x [Print Settings] button and change
the settings (& “Selecting special print settings”
on page 17). Then press OK to apply the new
settings.
7. Press the x Start button. Your photo is printed.
If you need to cancel printing, press the
y Stop/Clear button.
Restoring color in photos
If you have photos that have faded over time, you
can bring them back to life with color restoration
when you reprint them.
Before you start, follow the instructions on the
preceding pages to load photo paper and place your
photos on the document table. And set Restoration
to On, as shown (& “Reprinting Photos” on page 15).
Note:
You can restore color to faded photos up to 10 × 15 cm
(4 × 6in.).
You can also restore color to photos larger than 10 × 15 cm
(4 × 6 in.) when you scan them to your computer. See your
on-screen User's Guide for details.
Selecting special print settings
You can choose from various sizes and types of
Epson paper and some print settings to get just the
results you want.
1. Press the v [Specialty Print] mode button and
follow the instructions on the preceding pages to
preview the photo (& “Reprinting Photos” on
page 15).
2. Press the x [Print Settings] button.
3. Use the u or d button to select a menu item, then
press the r button.
4. Use the u or d button to select a setting item, and
then press OK to apply the new setting.
Paper Type Select the setting for the type of paper
you loaded (& Selecting Paper” on
page 7).
Paper Size Select the paper size you loaded.
Layout Select Borderless to print your photo
without white borders at the edges.
Otherwise select Border.
Quality Select the quality of the copied
documents.
Expansion Adjust the amount the image is
expanded when you select Borderless.
Standard: No margins are printed.
(The image is slightly enlarged and
cropped to fill the sheet of paper.)
Mid:Low expansion rate. (Margins
might be printed.)
Min:Lowest expansion rate. (Margins
might be printed.)
Color Effect Select B&W to print your photo in black
and white.
