6 Guide to Parts and Control Panel Functions
Control Panel
Control panel design varies depending on the area where you purchased the product.
Buttons
LCD screen
The screen displays a preview of the selected images, or displays settings that you can change with the buttons.
If no buttons are pressed for more than three minutes, the product becomes inactive or a slide show begins when
Screen Saver Settings is set to Memory Card Data (& “Setting the Screen Saver” on page 39).
After 13 minutes of inactivity, the screen turns black to save energy and the LEDs for the mode buttons turn on
and off in a clockwise motion.
Press any button (except P On) to return the screen to its previous state.

1 P On Press to turn the product on and
off.
6 y [Back] Press to cancel the current
operation on the LCD screen and
return to the previous menu.
2 Mode r [Copy] Press to copy a photo or a
document.

Press to select menu items.

Card]
Press to print photos from a
memory card.
OK Press to activate the settings you
have selected.

[Specialty
Print]
Press to print on CD/DVDs, make
copies or restore faded photos.
8 Copies
(+ and -)
Press to set the number of copies,
or change the crop area.

[Display/Crop]
Press to change the view of
photos on the LCD screen when
selecting photos, and press to
crop a photo you select.
9 x Start Press to start copying and printing.
4 F [Setup] Press to run maintenance
programs or adjust miscellaneous
settings.
10 y Stop/Clear Press to stop copying and printing,
or reset the settings you have
made.
5 x [Print Settings] Press to display detailed settings
for each mode.
