Subject: Correction of the Firmware via DPMS (Denon Product Management
Server).
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: 1) A/V receiver and DVD-A1UDCI/A1UD are connected with
DENON LINK 4th. When a specific disc is reproduced, the sound might not be
emitted.
2) The sound might not be emitted while specific BD software is reproducing.
3) The bit rate of iPod displayed on the GUI screen was deleted.
4) Preset information on Internet radio/media server is not maintained when
turning off power.
5) Because the Rhapsody server becomes SSL correspondence, the log in
processing is changed.
6) ASD-51 cannot be recognized on the network when ASD-51 is connected, and
neither Party Mode nor Network Status operates.
7) The communication fault might occur when Audyssey Pro is used.
Solution:
We corrected the firmware so that no malfunction occurs.
Read me at first! Please initialize the unit before updating the firmware if you
have never updated the firmware of the unit via "DPMS". When you already
updated the firmware of the unit via "DPMS", it is not necessary to initialize the
unit again.
1) Turn off the "Power switch" of unit.
2) Open the door on the front panel.
3) While holding the "△" and "▽" buttons (SYSTEM CONTROL) down
simultaneously, turn the "Power switch" on.
