Q1 System buttons
These perform playback related operations (vpage57).
•Skip buttons (8, 9)
•Play button (1)
•Search buttons (6, 7)
•Pause button (3)
•Stop button (2)
Tuning up / Tuning down buttons (TUNE +, –)
These operate the tuner (vpage65).
Q2 Number / Character buttons
These enter letters or numbers into the unit (vpage65, 149).
Q3 Remote control signal transmitter
This transmits signals from the remote control unit (vpage8).
Q4 POWER button (X)
This turns the power on/o (vpage55, 138).
Q5 TV operation buttons
(TV X / TV MENU / TV INPUT)
These turn the TV power on/o, switch the TV input and call up menus.
Preset codes need to be registered in order to use these buttons
(vpage206).
Q6 AVR-operation mode button
When preset codes are registered to the remote control unit, press this
button and then operate the menu on the unit.
Q7 InstaPrevue button
This displays the InstaPrevue screen (vpage126).
