nnPC Language Selects the language to be used for displaying the Internet sites. “PC Language” setting menu appears. nnFriendly Name Edit The Friendly Name is the name of this unit displayed on the network (Maximum 63 characters). Screen Saver To prevent mistaken operation, you can disable the remote signal sensor function for the supplied remote control. • The default setting is “Enable”. To prevent mistaken operation, you can lock the operation buttons on the main unit to disable operation from the main unit. You can select whether to lock all buttons or to lock specific buttons. • The default setting is “Enable”. Use the following procedure to set the screen saver.

RDS (works only on the FM band) is a broadcasting service which allows a station to send additional information along with the regular radio program signal. The following four types of RDS information can be received with this unit: PTY identifies the type of RDS program.
RT (Radio Text) TP identifies programs that carry traffic announcements. This allows you to easily find out the latest traffic conditions in your area before leaving home. For inputting characters, there are two methods, as shown below.

In the Serial remote control function, a host such as a computer is connected to the unit. By sending control commands from the host to the unit, the unit can be operated, and the status information of the unit can be checked both on the unit and host. There are 2 methods for connecting the host and unit, namely RS-232C control and IP Control.
