3. DEVICE OPERATION
(1) Playing audio files on a disc
1. Load a disc containing audio files.
The display will change to “Loading.”. When the
contents of the disc have been read, the total number of
tracks will be displayed.
2. Turn the jog wheel to select a file you want to listen to.
The file name scrolls and back to the number of track on
the display.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
(Directory skip)
1. In shift mode, press the INDEX/DIR +/– button to select
a folder.
The display will indicate each name of all folders
including sub-folders.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
Playback will be started from the top file within the
selected folder.
(2) Advanced music files playback
The following "Advanced CD playback" functions are possible
with audio files on a disc in the same way as a standard CD-
DA disc.
