ENGLISH u Continue/Single button ( CONT./SINGLE, • Push this button to switch between the single and continuous play modes. • The selected mode is indicated by the SINGLE or CONTINUE indicators on the display. • Push this button for over 1 seconds to turn the repeat mode on and off. i JOG MODE, !2 PITCH BEND +/– button • The playing speed increases/decreases while this button is pushed. • When the button is released, the playing speed returns to the previous speed.
ENGLISH u Digital out indicator (4) RC-D40 Rear panel • This lights when the digital output is turned on within the preset mode. @9 Control connector • Connect this connector to the REMOTE connector on the DN-D4000 (main unit) using the included control cord. • Play position indicator: The 30 white dots indicate where is playing visually in a track in the normal play.
ENGLISH 5 BASIC OPERATION The diagrams below show playback patterns when the PLAY/PAUSE and CUE buttons are pushed. PLAY/PAUSE button pushed Section played PLAY/PAUSE button pushed Position on disc Section played Pause mode set at this point When the PLAY/PAUSE button !1 is pushed, playback starts and proceeds as shown by the arrow on the diagram above. If the PLAY/PAUSE button !1 is pushed again during playback, the pause mode is set at that point.
ENGLISH 7 SEAMLESS LOOP/HOT START AND STUTTER (2) Fine-adjusting the start points (A-1 and A-2) and end point (B) • The A-1, A-2 and B points can also be adjusted in the standby mode at their respective points. In Seamless Loop playback, you can force exit from or return in the loop. A1 • A1 and A2 buttons can be used separately for each Hot Start. • When an A point is set, the corresponding A button light and that button is set to the Hot Start mode.

(3) Combined with single, continuous, single relay and continuous relay mode The combination with RELAY PLAY mode and SINGLE, CONTINUOUS PLAY mode, or SINGLE RELAY and CONTINUOUS RELAY PLAY mode are also available. Clear Program (ProgM.Clr) 8 • When “ProgM.Clr” is selected, the program for the loaded disc is cleared.

Push the MEMO/PRESET button @4 to enable Memo clear function. When the track select knob o is pushed in MEMO CLEAR mode, the Memo data is cleared and the MEMO indicator on the display turns off. FRANÇAIS (3) DN-D4000 @5 Prises de sortie analogique 1, 2 (ANALOG OUT 1, 2) • Ce sont des jacks de sortie non-équilibrées. Les signaux audio des lecteurs de CD sont envoyés vers ces jacks de sortie. (5) Affichage • Le fader peut être actionné grâce au commutateur indiqué sur le schéma cidessous. SW 1 • Les données numériques sont envoyées à ces jacks de sortie suivant les préréglages. • Il est recommandé d’utiliser un cordon à broche de 75 Ω/ohms (disponible dans le commerce) pour les raccordements.
