SWING-ARM
REMOVAL
- Put the vehicle on the centre stand.
- Suitably support the engine.
- Unscrew the nut shown in the figure and pull out the
pivot on the left side.
- Unscrew the nut on the left side of the vehicle and remove
the pivot on the opposite side.
- Ensure engine-side and frame-side swing-arm braces are
free to rotate freely about pivot.
- Check the axial play between the two swingarms using fe-
eler gauges.
