Disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan

before installing light kit

GENERAL

All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances or national electrical

codes. If you are unfamiliar with methods of installing electrical wiring,

secure the services of a qualified electrician. Before starting installation, disconnect the power by

turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at fuse box. Turning power off using the fan

switch (speed control on/off) is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock.

NOTE: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in the manual are not meant to cover

by the person(s) installing this unit.

CAUTION:

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan

ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION Tool Required: Screwdriver For Type A: Center Nipple Attachment (see Fig. 1/Fig 2/Fig. 3) 1. Remove the switch housing cover from the fan by unscrewing the three screws. 2. Remove the threaded plug from the center of this cover by unscrewing it. You may discard this piece or keep it for future use. 3. Attach the cover to fitter and feed the kit wires (black and white) through the hole of the cover. Screw on the cover and secure it to the fitter.
