Installation Tips: • When measuring for post installation, the measurement listed is from the center of one post to the center of the next, NOT the inside post distance from each post. • It may be necessary to cut the rails to balance the sections properly. Always cut equal lengths from each end of the rails so the spindles are well centered. • If trimming a section is needed, be sure to remove the steel insert before cutting.
6. Measure the distance between posts. ADD 4 INCHES TO THIS MEASURMENT. Each rail end must extend into the post about 2". Using a saw, cut both Top & Bottom Rails (G), and both Steel Rail Inserts (H) to this length. Fig. 3 G H 7. Slide one Steel Rail Insert (H) facing DOWN into one of the Rails (G) with the Spindle holes facing UP, this will be your Bottom Rail. (See Fig 3.) Insert one end into the fully secured Post first, then into the second Post. Be sure the Spindle holes are facing UP.
