STEPSTOBETAKENINCASEMATERIALISRELEASEDORSPILLED
PersonsinvolvedincleaningshouldfirstfollowtheprecautionsdefinedinSectionVIIoftheSDS.Spilledmaterials,wheredust
canbegenerated,mayoverexposecleanuppersonneltorespirablecrystallinesilicacontainingdustandothercomponentsthat
mayposeinhalationhazards.Donotdrysweepspilledmaterial.Collectthematerialusingamethodthatdoesnotproducedust
suchasaHighEfficiencyParticulateAir(HEPA)vacuumorthoroughlywettingdownthedustbeforecleaningup.Wear
appropriatepersonalprotectiveequipmentasspecifiedinSectionVIIIincludingappropriaterespiratorsduringandfollowingclean
uporwheneverairbornedustispresenttoensureworkerexposuresremainbelowoccupationalexposurelimits(OELsReferto
SectionVIII).Placethedustinacoveredcontainerappropriatefordisposal.Disposeofthedustaccordingtofederal,stateand
localregulations.

Thisproductisnotintendedordesignedforandshouldnotbeusedasanabrasiveblastingmediumorforfoundryapplications.
FollowprotectivecontrolssetforthinSectionVIIIofthisSDSwhenhandlingthisproduct.Dustcontainingrespirablecrystalline
silicaandothercomponentsthatmaybecorrosive/irritantmaybegeneratedduringprocessing,handlingandstorage.Usegood
housekeepingprocedurestopreventtheaccumulationofdustintheworkplace.
Donotbreathedust.Avoidcontactwithskinandeyes.Donotstorenearfoodorbeveragesorsmokingmaterials.
Donotstandonpilesofmaterials;itmaybeunstable.
Useadequateventilationanddustcollectionequipmentandensurethatthedustcollectionsystemisadequatetoreduceairborne
dustlevelstobelowtheappropriateOELs.IftheairbornedustlevelsareabovetheappropriateOELs,userespiratoryprotection
duringtheestablishmentofengineeringcontrols.RefertoSectionVIIIExposureControls/PersonalProtectionforfurther
information.
