CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR NEW FLOOR
Your new floor is now ready to show with pride! Un-grouted floors can be walked on
immediately. For grouted floors please refer to the manufacturer’s recommendations on
the grout label. We recommend waiting 48 to 72 hours before washing the floor. This is
to allow the tile to conform to the sub-floor. Always use thick felt furniture and leg
protectors. Do not slide heavy furniture over the floor. Walk off mats should be placed at
all entrances to protect your floor from sand, soil, and grit as well as other
contaminants. Avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight especially during peak
sunlight hours. Regular sweeping or vacuuming and occasional washing with clean
warm water will keep your new floor clean and beautiful. To thoroughly clean your floor
use a damp sponge dipped in a warm water and white vinegar solution. Like many
other types of floors, vinyl floors become slippery when wet so always wipe up spills
immediately and when cleaning the floor allow adequate time for the floor to dry.
USE
Excellent for all areas of your home including kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, rec
rooms, as well as light commercial installations such as shops, salons, professional and
small business entryways, and break rooms.
IMPORTANT: This product is for interior use only – install only where a stable
temperature is maintained between 65 degrees and 85 degrees Fahrenheit before
installation, during installation, and for the life of the product. This product is not
recommended for seasonal dwellings, unheated porches or installations where there
are extreme temperature variations.
