An optional third party addressable module can only be used within the Ex d ameproof model unless the

addressable module is component certied as Ex e for use within the Ex d e increased safety model.

NOTE

Refer to “EOL Resistors” section for installation details. All cable entry devices and blanking elements shall be

certied to “E-generation” or “ATEX” standards, in type of explosion protection increased safety “e” or ameproof

enclosure “d” (as applicable), suitable for the conditions of use and correctly installed. They shall maintain the

degree of ingress protection IP66/IP67 for the apparatus. Unused conduit entries shall be closed with suitable

blanking elements.

NOTE

For ATEX installations, the X3302 detector housing must be electrically connected to earth ground.
