Detecto PHR Portable Height Rod Assembly and Operation

Assembly

 Open insert. Slide Headpiece,

and lift to remove it. Locate and

remove Stabilizers from carton.

 Lift insert to side to fully expose

Base and using both hands remove

Base from carton.

 Remove Column Pieces from

carton.

 Verify carton contents:

Base, Headpiece, (4) Column Pieces

and (2) stabilizers.

 Place PHR base on floor.

 Install (1) Stabilizer on Column

Piece “A” (with large arrow) and insert

into Base as shown below.

 Insert Column Piece marked

“A-B” into Column Piece “A” and

press down to lock in place.

 Insert Column Piece marked

“B-C” into Column Piece “A-B” and

press down to lock in place.

Assembly, Cont.  Install (1) Stabilizer on Column  Insert Column Piece marked “C” Piece “C” and insert into Headpiece as shown below. into Column Piece “B-C” and press down to lock in place. Assembly is complete. The PHR Portable Height Rod is ready to use. Operation 1. Position upper and lowers Stabilizers on the Column and place PHR against the wall. 2. Raise Headpiece well above estimated height of patient. Upper Stabilizer Headpiece 3. Assist patient onto PHR Base (or scale).
