OpenPhone 28 Softkeys and Other Keys
Softkeys and Other Keys
The two keys below the display, as
well as the arrow keys, are known as
softkeys. The functions assigned to
the keys are shown in the lowest line
of the display. The key function
changes automatically according to
the operating status of the handset.
Softkey: Left key
short key press: selects the function
shown in the display
long key press: switches the handset
off
Softkey: Right key
short key press: selects the function
shown in the display
long key press: switches the handset
back on
Softkey: Arrow Keys
Above the arrow keys you will see
symbols that identify the individual
functions of the arrow keys:
F The “up” arrow key allows
you to select call numbers
from the phone book of
your communications sys-
tem OpenCom 100.
F The “down” arrow key
allows you to select call
numbers from the local tel-
ephone book of your tele-
phone.
When you are entering call
numbers or names, you can
make changes by moving a
cursor. The arrow keys al-
low you to move the cursor
to the beginning or end of
the entry.
If a selection list
(e.g. phone book or menu)
is displayed, you can use
the arrow keys to scroll to
the desired entry. If a con-
tinuous text is shown
(e.g. a message), you can
scroll up and down through
the text with the arrow
keys.
During a call you can
change the volume of the
receiver/loudspeaker using
the arrow keys.
