Making Calls from the Telephone Book Making Calls
In the idle state briefly press the
lower arrow key
F.
Search: Entering a single letter will
take you to the entries beginning
with this letter. If necessary, use the
arrow keys to select the desired
name.
Then press …
the receiver key A to dial.

the local telephone book menu.
The local telephone book’s menu
New: You create a new entry. Enter
the call number and then the name.
Confirm with
OK
.
Edit: You edit the selected entry.
Save your changes with
OK
.
Delete: You delete the selected en-
try (without a security prompt).
Delete All: Delete all entries of the
local telephone book after security
prompt.
Quick Call: You can allocate the
selected entry in the local telephone
book a speed-dialling number
(1…9). The speed-dialling number
programmed is displayed to the left
of the telephone book entry.
When the OpenPhone 28 is in the
idle state, you can press and hold the
speed-dialling number
(key 1 … key 9) to view the associ-
ated entry in the local telephone
book. This copies the number to the
pre-dial where you can then dial it
by pressing
A.
