ately. Is the function deactivated

Important Note
In accordance with your safety prac-
tice requirements, we advice you to
please pay attention to the follow-
ing:
Operating your telephone in the op-
erations type emergency call with
warning tone (i.e. “Silent alarm” is
switched off) means that calls con-
tinue to be signalled during the
30 second warning time. The warn-
ing tone will be repeated for a fur-
ther 30 seconds after the completion
of the call or conversation and be-
fore the emergency call number will
be dialled. Because of this, a delay
can occur before the emergency call
is made. Therefore in sensitive safety
areas switch on the “Silent alarm”
menu item, so that an emergency
call is made immediately.
■ Auto Answer: If an headset is
plugged in then a connection is
automatically created, you can
make hands free calls. If the
caller hangs up then the connec-
tion will be disconnected.
Please note: If you are not using
the headset, then please deactivate
this function as unnoticed listening-
in by a caller is possible.
If no headset is connected and
for an incoming call the tele-
phone is removed from the
charging station, then the call is
answered without pressing the
receiver key
A. With
OK
you
can activate (
“
) or deactivate
this function.
Please note: This function should
only be used when the “Silent
charging” function described below
is off.
■ Silent Charging: The handset
does not signal any calls as long
as it is in the charger. This ap-
plies to acoustic signalling via
the ringer, to visual signalling
and the vibration signalling.
Callers hear a busy tone. As soon
as you remove the handset from
the charger, calls are signalled
again. With
OK
you can activate
(
“
) or deactivate this function.
■ Coverage Warn.: The coverage
warning sounds a warning tone
when leaving the radio range.
Use
OK
to activate (
“
) or deacti-
vate this function.
■ User Name: Here you enter or
edit the name that appears on
the display when the handset is
in the idle state. Use the
OK
softkey to save the setting.
