Switching on: Open the regulator tap on the gas bottle and the gas isolator tap "Refriger-
ator".
Set the 12 V switch " " (Fig. 140,1 or Fig. 141,1) to " ".
Set 240 V switch " " (Fig. 140,2 or Fig. 141,2) to " ".
Turn control knob (Fig. 140,5) to highest position.
Turn the knob (Fig. 140,4) or control knob (Fig. 141,4) to gas " " and hold
it down. Wait until gas gets into the burner.
Press the gas ignition switch (Fig. 140,6 or Fig. 141,5) repeatedly until the
flame appears in the inspection glass (bottom left in the refrigerator).
Keep knob (Fig. 140,4) or control knob (Fig. 141,4) pressed for another 10
to 15 seconds, then release.
Check in the inspection glass (bottom left-hand side in the refrigerator)
whether the flame is visible.
Use control knob (Fig. 140,5 or Fig. 141,4) to adjust refrigerating tempera-
ture.
If ignition is unsuccessful, repeat the entire procedure.
Switching off:
Set knob (Fig. 140,4) to " " (off).
Turn control knob (Fig. 140,5 or Fig. 141,4) to 0-position.
Close the gas isolator tap "Refrigerator" and the regulator tap on the gas
bottle.
Electrical operation
The refrigerator can be operated with the following voltages:
240 V AC
12 V DC
Switching the 240 V
operation on:
Set the 12 V switch " " (Fig. 140,1 or Fig. 141,1) to " ".
Set 240 V switch " " (Fig. 140,2 or Fig. 141,2) to "I".
Use control knob (Fig. 140,3 or Fig. 141,3) to adjust refrigerating tempera-
ture.

Close the gas isolator tap "Refrigerator" when the refrigerator is operated
electrically.
